FLIGHT TICKET CANCELLATION INSURANCE

In case the ticket is cancelled 3 hours before the flight without giving any reason with "Ticket Cancellation Insurance" of Ucuzabilet, the amount of indemnity is 90% of the refund amount not paid to the insurance holder by the ticket supplier (airline company) of the ticket price indicated in the policy (including airport taxes, fuel fee and service charges).

If the cancellation notice is not received 3 hours before the flight, the ticket cancellation insurance will be void and no refunds will be made. For the resolution of potential disputes, Ucuzabilet records will be taken as basis.

  • Only T.R. citizens can benefit from the insurance. Therefore, you need to share the phone number belonging to Turkish operators in the contact information area.
  • The Flight Ticket Cancellation insurance applies to all tickets with and without special deals.
  • Airline miles and award tickets are out of coverage.
  • Bank late interest payments are out of coverage. Cannot be included in the amount of indemnity.
  • Tickets that were purchased with miles, bank bonus points and UB wallet or as a gift are not covered, even if the insured/policyholder has paid a part of the ticket price.
  • The package (hotel + flight) tickets are out of coverage.
  • Flight Ticket Cancellation Insurance can only be bought during ticket purchase process, it cannot be added after the ticket is purchased and it cannot be sold separately.
  • For the reimbursement made as insurance indemnity deemed within the insurance coverage regarding the ticket cancellation, the insurance premium paid for the insurance service cannot be refunded. Insurance premium is out of insurance coverage.
  • Additional discounts used when purchasing tickets are not covered by the insurance. They won’t be included in 90% of the ticket amount, and the refund amount will be calculated over the ticket price after deducting the discount amount.
  • Flight Ticket Cancellation Insurance can be used an unlimited number of times for every ticket purchased within the year.
  • A single policy can be issued for the same insured departing from the same location on the same day.
  • The Flight Ticket Cancellation Insurance applies to one-way or round-trip tickets. In the event of a round-trip ticket being cancelled, the entire ticket price will be refunded as part of the insurance. For round-trip tickets, if a one-way flight is cancelled, no indemnity will be paid for the non-cancelled flight, which is not covered by the insurance and services. Unused tickets are not eligible for reimbursement and are not covered.
  • In case a purchased insured ticket is changed or turned to an open one, the insurance policy does not cover the change in question.
  • In order for the checked-in tickets to be included in the insurance, the check-in process must be removed 3 hours before the flight. Cancellation can be valid after the check-in process has been removed.
  • Delays are not included, not covered by the insurance.
  • Flight or flights that are not operated by the airline are not covered by the flight ticket cancellation insurance. The premium paid for the insurance service is non-refundable. The ticket rules determined by the airline apply depending on the regulations of the corresponding Civil Aviation Authority.
  • To receive indemnity payment for your damage covered by the insurance and to start your ticket cancellation process, you can submit an online application on the Anadolu Sigorta website within 15 days following your ticket cancellation and complete the application steps at https: //www.anadolusigorta.com.tr/hasar-merkezi/biletim-guvende-iptali/. Ucuzabilet cannot be held responsible for exclusion from insurance due to late notifications.
  • Anadolu Sigorta will transfer the amount to be refunded within the scope of the insurance to the insured's account within 15 working days in accordance with the insurance conditions. The completion of the processes related to the transfer of the refund amount to the account of the insured after the refund process has been completed may vary depending on the refund procedures of the banks.
  • For the reimbursement made as insurance indemnity deemed within the insurance coverage regarding the ticket cancellation, the insurance premium paid for the insurance service cannot be refunded. Insurance premium is out of insurance coverage.
  • In urgent cases and in case of force majeure between 0 and 3 hours before the flights, an application for assessment by the insurance company can be submitted, together with the documents to be submitted for these situations.
  • In case of cancellation for urgent reasons or force majeure, the entire amount will be reimbursed that was not refunded to the insured by the ticket provider (airline company) over the ticket price stated in the policy.
  • The insurance policy serves as the invoice. No separate invoice is issued. The invoice can be used as a sole proprietorship. The policy in question cannot be reissued as a company invoice.
  • The insurance right cannot be transferred to another person, sold or converted into cash.
